There's a difference between thinking something MIGHT happen and being worried about it and sitting here 18 months ago telling us it DEFINITELY would happen and that we were all sheep for not seeing it.

Don't start making out that these conspiracy theorists are now suddenly worth listening to. They were unhinged cranks last year and they remain unhinged cranks today.

They may be unhinged but a lot of what they predicted DID happen - vaccine passports, Boosters etc

I don't understand why people on here get so uptight about someone doing what's expected of them. Devi and Linda Bauld etc aren't interested in the Economy or people's feelings, for them it's all about cutting infection levels by any means at all, whatever the consequences as that's not their problem.

It's the job of our politicians to listen to them along with all the other advisors and then make an informed choice with all the information to hand.

It's like being surprised at Douglas Ross criticising the Scottish Government or Nicola Sturgeon doing the same with Westminster, that's their job I'm afraid whether or not it's actually constructive or not or of any benefit to anyone is of course another argument entirely.

Same goes with the media, they're total gutter press in this country, mischief making and only looking for a reaction from people and sadly that's most often what they seem to be getting......

I think its because all three examples you’ve given are regularly shown to be absolute weapons.

Most reasonable people knew all these things would happen, but conspiracy theorists presented it as conspiracy for their agenda.

Whether they are or aren't surely isn't the issue. The issue is that people are getting outraged about them saying exactly what you'd expect them to say, given their roles, which I find strange.

Having said that, I'm not a great fan of this self publicist tweeting lark and believe that they should be giving official updates only, rather than trying to net themselves a place on the next edition of strictly or some other pathetic reality show for Z list nobodies.

Mind when the vaccine was going to get everything back to normal?

I remember them saying things would get back to normal when 15 million had been vaccinated (elderly/vulnerable), then it was all adults, then all over 12's, now boosters. Seems a long time ago since we believed that statement

The term 'kicking the can down the road' has never been more apt.

The only explanation for stuff like this is to normalise hyper aggressive policing.

As for the vaccine passports by the end of winter every regulated public space will be included. The only question is if they will follow Italy, Australia and other states who have made it a requirement of employment.

People were still saying it was conspiritorial to suggest vaccine passports would expand from their current scope when they were announced.

Their defenders will undoubtedly continue to defend them

You don't think the above is a conspiracy theory? Hospitals, job centres, public transport, shops?

See if you choose to wear a mask? Fair enough, that's your decision.

See if you choose to wear a mask outside and it is clearly sodden in the horrendous pishing rain? You are an utter imbecile.
