Guest
Noticed that the Recs has had two live games in a week (BSC v Hibs and Alloa v Dundee United). Is this the first time this has happened at Alloa? Also, how frequently has this happened for other grounds outside the top flight?
The Minertaur
Not answering the initial question but is there a way to see when a team was last on live tv? Would be interesting to see which teams are constantly ignored. Recent ones: Cowdenbeath 1 v 3 Rangers - 30th January 2019 - Premier Sports
craigkillie
Every team in the top two tiers has been on this season as part of the Premiership and Championship TV deals. In addition, the Scottish Cup deal has seen Clyde, Falkirk and Stranraer televised (along with Auchinleck Talbot, Bonnyrigg Rose, BSC Glasgow, Buckie Thistle, Kelty Hearts and Linlithgow Rose from outside the SPFL), the League Cup deal saw East Fife and Elgin City televised, and the Challenge Cup featured Cove Rangers, Elgin City, Raith Rovers and Stenhousemuir. That means that in total 30 of the 42 SPFL clubs have featured on TV this season - and of course some others still could assuming that the Championship play-offs are on BBC Alba again. Like the poster above, I would also like to know if there is any website that has detailed information about televised games. It's easy enough to find out for the last few years, but before that it's difficult to know for sure what was on unless highlights have survived. For clubs outside the top 2 tiers, these are the last TV appearances from most recent to oldest 14/02/2020 - Partick Thistle v Raith Rovers (Challenge Cup, BBC Alba) 09/02/2020 - Clyde v Celtic (Scottish Cup, Premier Sports) 08/02/2020 - Falkirk v Heart of Midlothian (Scottish Cup, BBC Scotland) 17/01/2020 - Rangers v Stranraer (Scottish Cup, Premier Sports) 15/11/2019 - Raith Rovers v Elgin City (Challenge Cup, BBC Alba) 11/10/2019 - Stenhousemuir v Waterford (Challenge Cup, BBC Alba) 07/09/2019 - Connah's Quay Nomads v Cove Rangers (Challenge Cup, S4C) 18/08/2019 - East Fife v Rangers (League Cup, BT Sport) 13/04/2019 - Airdrieonians v Stenhousemuir (League One, BBC Alba) 16/02/2019 - Connah's Quay Nomads v Edinburgh City (Challenge Cup, S4C) 30/01/2019 - Cowdenbeath v Rangers (Scottish Cup, Premier Sports) 16/11/2018 - Queen's Park v Connah's Quay Nomads (Challenge Cup, BBC Alba) 13/05/2018 - Dumbarton v Alloa Athletic (Championship Playoffs, BBC Alba) 20/05/2017 - Alloa Athletic v Brechin City (Championship Playoffs, BBC Alba) 22/01/2017 - Albion Rovers v Celtic (Scottish Cup, Sky Sports) 15/10/2016 - Airdrieonians v Peterhead (League One, BBC Alba) 02/08/2016 - Celtic U20 v Annan Athletic (Challenge Cup, Premier Sports) 20/02/2016 - Ayr United v Forfar Athletic (League One, BBC Alba) 30/03/2013 - Montrose v Rangers (Division Three, Sky Sports) 23/03/2013 - Rangers v Stirling Albion (Division Three, Sky Sports)
