Not sure if they've been carried over from the old SPL or what but they seem very old fashioned and certainly not conducive to the latest technologies. It doesnt matter. The clubs are the association and adhere/ agree to the rules and regulations irrespective of whether they were set up donkeys ago.The clubs can change the rules/ regulations. I,m a member of a number of clubs and aware of the rules and how you o about changing them if you so do wish Not for one supporting the SPFL but some seem to be blaming them for everything wrong with scottish football when they should be looking at the members eg the clubs who agree to the whole set up

JAR
I think it would be more important if we knew what the SPFL was doing to obtain Govt. or Nat Lottery support for Scottish football . We need to know roughly how long footie is off for so that plans can be made for next season -signing players ,selling season tickets etc.
Sanity check needed.
Think we should be more worried about how many clubs will survive this than reconstruction

England hasn't existed as an international power since 1707. Scotland has to take its share of any blame going.

You can blather on about the Act of Union all you want, but England has been the driving force in Great Britain since 1707. I very deliberately chose England as the correct word. Scotland, Wales and the various incarnations of Ireland/Northern Ireland have been dragged along for the ride (including into and out of the EEC and the EU).
