I don't think there's any point in trying to predict how a newly assembled side will do based on a couple of bounce games. nobody has seen this side play a single meaningful game yet so we'll have to wait and see. Its not as if the other so called big guns have being pulling up trees either- Clydebank drawing with Threave, Pollok losing to Huntly and Darvel losing to Thorniewood come to mind. Totally agree, I have played in teams that strolled in preseason games then started the season poorly and then had the totally opposite when having a poor preseason. It's really all about people getting to know each other , if a few new signings, and getting match fitness back up to scratch after few weeks off. But I can understand why fans like to see wins right away , Tucker is a wily old soul and I'm sure Talbot will have a major say in how the season goes this season as normal. on McMillan he's a lovely big lad, never really seen much of him football wise but he was out injured a long time so I hope the move works out for him Edited July 19, 2023 by Plantar fasciitis 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
