without looking anything up I'm going to say that's four corners park in the USA where New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Nevada (or another four) all meet at one point ?

Brechin's hedge is beech. Many of them say that leylandii can't be a hedge. I don't understand why though.

Yes.  Photographer is standing in Stanstead Quebec and the flower pots are the border.  The other side is Derby Line Vermont.

The building on the left is the Haskell Library, which has the border running down the middle.
