I would say he still falls under the criteria of the OPs post. It’s pretty vague. Some might not have started off at Rangers but went on to spend a reasonable chunk of their developmental years there. ETA: Could probably add Stephen Hughes and Barry McKay to the Rangers list too, albeit both only played for Scotland once. Barry Ferguson and Stephen Hughes had made their debuts before that. David Bates and Tony Watt absolutely dont count as Old Firm developed players.
