Aberdeen Cowden
54 minutes ago, The Minertaur said: New loan signing: "With the Cowdenbeath FC squad now back training with PCR testing in place, manager Gary Bollan moved to augment his playing resources by signing Ryan Finnie on loan from Berwick Rangers. With a likely packed programme of matches ahead he was delighted to sign the experienced defender. Ryan is aged 26 and joined Berwick back in October. He has previously played with several SPFL sides including Hamilton, Annan, Alloa, Dumbarton, Clyde and Queen’s Park. Ryan has also played abroad in Sweden and Australia and was capped by Scotland at under-19 level. We are delighted to welcome Ryan to Central Park and look forward to seeing him in action in the weeks ahead." Keep them coming!
iateallthepies
With Cavanaugh going back to Ireland we look a bit short of options up front.

The Minertaur
Seeing that got me wondering who scored our last hat-trick. Think it is Jordan Allan who got 3 v Edinburgh City?
The Minertaur
Just looking at our fixtures. Going to be a bloody tough week for the team at the end of March! Tues March 30th - Edinburgh City (H) Thurs April 1st - Albion (H) Sat April 3rd - Stenny (A) Tues April 6th - Queens Park (A) 4 games in a week is deemed a nightmare for full time clubs nevermind part time clubs. Players will struggle to get off work plus just general fitness probably not being at the levels it coudl be just now.

Play each other home and away once each for an 18 game season, then have the play offs. Months of the season have been missed. Completely fair, and also should be the minimum requirement for league positions to stand, otherwise cancel the season. Such a simple solution, it seems a bit baffling that something so straightforward couldn’t have been agreed before this season started. Every man and his dog knew there was going to be another wave/lockdown in the winter (except Boris and the SPFL).
tamthebam
Might have been better to have had Tues 30th- Good Friday-Easter Monday-Thurs 8th April as folk might have got the Public Holidays on the Friday and the Monday. The English put on Good Friday and Easter Monday fixtures- I've been to a few in my time. Easter in Blyth: it's bracing!
NELLY
Echo the sentiments that the schedule for the players is ridiculous and I fear for their health in terms of fatigue/picking up injuries. These guys do have to work as well which is the main area of their livelihoods. So they will embrace all the games im sure but by the 4th game in a week they will struggle however other teams are in same boat. Hopefully players have maintained an ok fitness regime at home. I would urge all cowden fans to try their best to sign up to BBTV for our home games to get a small amount of revenue into the club. Get behind the players the best they can during what will be a tough couple of months for them. We have a tight squad numbers wise and hopefully we can add a further loan or 2 before end March (shutting of loan window) mone the cowden

CowdenPhil
Are we playing Stranraer this Saturday? It shows on their website that they are playing Cowden this Saturday but on our website fixture list it shows as our next game vs Edinburgh City
