They should have finished higher with the likes of Ings and the handsome Stuart Armstrong. Their defence is an utter shambles and I actually expect them to get relegated next season if they stick with those players and/or Hasenhuttl. Edit - When I say those players. I mean their current centre backs. Edited May 20, 2021 by TheScarf
Theroadlesstravelled
Ruben Dias has won the Football Writers' Association footballer of year. A defender winning awards is shite but there’s been no attacking players who’ve stood out.

Theroadlesstravelled
A central defender winning it is only slightly better than a goalkeeper winning it.

Every position is important but its much harder to create than destroy. 60% of a CB's job is sticking his head on it. Anyone can do that, go and do what David Silva does then you're a player. -
Brummie Clyde
Disagree, since the offside rule changed, defending is much more difficult. Also, most defenders are expected to be good on the ball nowadays.Makes a change for a defender to win and Dias probably has been more consistently excellent than any other player in the League.

Sherrif John Bunnell
Nuno leaving Wolves by mutual consent. He'll be in demand, despite them being fairly dire this season.

accies1874
I would've quite liked to have seen how he recovered from the shite of this season, especially since everything seemed to indicate it was one of transition.

Too much transition in the starting 11 from Nuno is part of the reason Wolves have had a bit of a meh season IMO. Seemed to be a dozen changes to their line up and a change of formation every single game. Too much tinkering.
