SouthLanarkshireWhite
With this wind if they tie Dumbarton's stadium to one of the kid's trampolines it will be in Airdrie by this afternoon anyway.

Benidorm
Why haven't Dumbarton followed suit with most other part-timers in the central belt and invested in an artificial pitch? Is there still limbo about moving stadium? Its fair enough for your Peterheads, Stranraers and Elgins who for travel reasons often train in a better geographical location so they get less value for money in investing in a new pitch, but I don't get Dumbarton. Are they that much more skint than clubs like Stenny, Forfar or Alloa that they can't afford to do so? Heck theres loads of clubs outside of the 42 with artificial pitches now. We have owners who have not invested one single penny in the club since they invested over a decade ago and have been pushing for a pie in the sky move to a stadium on a floodplain. Their ideal scenario now would be if Sons folded and they could sell the current stadium for housing. So in short, yes.

I got told a story last year that the investors at Dumbarton allegedly forgot they had even invested in the club? Sad story down there. Obviously the club would make a fortune selling that land for housing but I get the fear when smaller clubs do that, Clydebank and the Shire 2 that come straight to mind.
cameron2000
I think it’s only fair we seek a postponement now with the goalkeeper crisis, surely the SFA will grant us this? I’m sure the Clyde fans will be sympathetic too!?

After our performance today the fact that you have no keepers is the only way we will score on Tuesday!

Bring Back Paddy Flannery
I think we should actually have Stef McCluskey announce the postponement live via video link.

Clearly hates the Clyde. He apparently pretended he wasn't injured last year to play for us.

Yeah, he missed a game or two while we were chasing a play off place to go to a Sunderland game. Stuart McColm also missed the play off games because he was on honeymoon. It was the last season Duffy was in charge.

Or countless players not bothering with midweek trips to Elgin and the like.
