Hope this isn't Florida during Bush vs Gore all over again. With Arizona on board it is almost in the bag for Biden.

Not sure about that, though it'd be close - there's Rhode Island, Minnesota, Maine and Arizona which will realistically go to Biden.

How many EC votes is that? Biden's currently on 205, so he needs 65 more...

Two years ago Florida voted to allow ex-felons to vote. The Republican governor overturned it and the Republican-stuffed Florida Supreme Court upheld that. So about 775,000 former prisoners couldn't vote there today, despite the people of Florida voting to allow it.

That's a lot of ex-felons!

Was also on the ballot separately to look into legalising and regulate shrooms I think. The bills are usually written by out of state advocacy groups as Oregon has a good system to get citizen initiatives on the ballot. With the Portland metro being a massive part of the state it's fairly easy to get it passed. Hopefully a domino effect as with cannabis

Providing the state don't buy it from abroad. All the things wrong with America I find it completely bizarre that they are in the front foot for drug legalisation but fair play provided they tighten up the drug/ drunk driving laws for a start otherwise this will kill plenty folk

The polls appear to be wrong again. They’ll give their stuff about margin of error and getting it right nationally etc but they’re wrong in plenty of states.

This is looking very bloody dangerous to me. Biden will probably still win but it’ll come down to the likes of Pennsylvania and Michigan. Trump is currently miles ahead but probably still likely to lose it after days of counting postal votes.

A quick search of PA on Twitter shows all the right-wing voices crowing that they’re ahead in PA, Michigan and Wisconsin. But they might not be after the postal votes, which could be days.

This is going to get messy.

This brain donor has conceded the election, as someone who makes Trump look intelligent he was a stick on to run a campaign eventually luckily it's been an unbridled disaster. Can only hope for an even worse result for him in '24.

I can only assume that with such a well thought out post you haven't spent the night drinking

Path is Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, NE-2, most of Maine and DC at that point with Pennsylvania and Georgia apparently now still also in play.

A few calling Nebraska's second district for Biden. Could be critical. If Biden wins Arizona he only needs Wisconsin and one of Michigan or Georgia to hit 270.

CNN calling it officially
