Well the Westminster election has produced similar results. In Sunderland, and much of the north of England and Scotland, they basically weighed the Labour votes whilst in some areas the Tories lost their deposit. In the south of England it was much closer. Result was sometimes that the Tories won more seats whilst Labour won the popular vote. The electoral system is what it is. GordonS Posted November 4, 2020 Share Posted November 4, 2020 Clinton lost Michigan by 0.23%, Pennsylvania by 0.72% and Wisconsin by 0.77%. Biden is on course to lose Ohio by about 5%. Well he claims to have improved the economy, and there was statistical evidence to substantiate that, I believe.
