Seems clear that MI, WI and Pa won't be finalised today. Main question is will Trump go ahead and claim victory

Said on Fox news he wouldn't but only he knows if he will keep that promise

In the last half hour Biden has come back to lead from around 3m votes behind in the popular vote. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

Depends if these votes are in the right place. If they are in California then is won't matter a jot

Doesn’t need said but the electoral college system is beyond ridiculous, Biden is 1/100 to get the most votes but over evens to actually win the election.

Well the Westminster election has produced similar results.

In Sunderland, and much of the north of England and Scotland, they basically weighed the Labour votes whilst in some areas the Tories lost their deposit. In the south of England it was much closer. Result was sometimes that the Tories won more seats whilst Labour won the popular vote.

The electoral system is what it is. There's no point in moaning about it.

Clinton lost Michigan by 0.23%, Pennsylvania by 0.72% and Wisconsin by 0.77%.

Biden is on course to lose Ohio by about 5%. Clinton lost it by 8.13%.

There's enough movement there if the pattern is repeated - but that's far from guaranteed.

Has Trump actually done anything to improve people’s lives in rural America or are these lower educated areas just likely to blindly vote Republican anyway due to “Christian values” and such like?

Well he claims to have improved the economy, and there was statistical evidence to substantiate that, I believe. Biden claimed that Trump inherited an improving economy, and that it was policies under Obama that were coming into effect.
