Tell that to Pep Guardiola, and Ferran Soriano at Man City.

"Developing players in England is a problem.  B teams aren't allowed and we have a development vacuum for players between the ages of 17 and 18".

Not actually going to address the point I've made then?

The Power of "B"
Simple answer, rename EVERY team in Scotland to put a "B" after their name 😋

At Inverness we have been putting out our B team for a few years now in the Championship without officially making it so.

QUOTE FROM TODAYS EDINBURGH EVENING NEWS

Darvel manager Mick Kennedy, whose West of Scotland League Premier Division side shocked Montrose and Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup this season, wrote on Twitter: “Only in Scotland would league reconstruction to progress our game relegate over 200 clubs. Anyone who supports this should be ashamed. There is a reason the new conference requires no voting power, because they already know it's wrong on so many levels.”

Caley braves dont have any fans. Broomhill are an abomination.
Both probably absolutely buzzing at the prospect of B teams because they have no identity of their own.

I’m not sure your second sentence makes any sense. Anyway, Braves at least are trying to put down roots in the community and have made a lot of effort to engage with local schools etc. it’s not their fault if the fans aren’t coming to the games, but at least they are trying.

Man City 7 last night:

Ederson, Dias, Silva – Benfica B (POR)

Rodri – Villareal B (SPA)

Akanji – Winterhur & Basel B (SWI)

Gundogan – Bochum and Dortmund (GER)

Haaland – Bryne, Molde (NOR)

7 world-class players, all with international caps, played B-team football in 5 different countries as part of their development.

And how many of RB Leipzig's side played in their B-team?

Damned if they do, damned if they don’t really. They ground-share and they are seen as joke, get their own ground, spend money at it and are still a joke, they can’t win.

with regards to community, they have been trying to engage with the local towns through schools in North Lanarkshire etc. But down with that sort of forward thinking.

Exactly. Do they not keep changing name and location as well. Probably the worst supported team in the pyramid.

Maybe what they're doing isn't as smart as a lot of people seem to think. Maybe people don't actually have any interest in supporting some made up vanity project of a club with a silly name and an app.

Not everything different is innovative.
