Kejan Posted January 29, 2022 Share Posted January 29, 2022 I know there is some amount of talent coming through Canada, but to be strolling that group with the likes of Mexico, Costa Rica, the US, and even Jamaica and Panama (been to recent WC) is excellent. Venezuala got off to a stormer last night under Pekerman winning 4-1 against Bolivia - punting a fair dunt in their hopes. It's fascinating having CONEMBOL, CONCACAF with these bigger groups. Everything from Paraguay in 9th to Peru in 4th can still get there, only a matter of 7pts between second bottom and an auto spot in Qatar in South America. Massive win for Costa Rica over Panama in the week, now up to 12pts with Panama in the playoff spot on 14. Canada and the US are pretty much there, you'd think Mexico would get the final third spot.
