flyingscot
Scotland men get the gold. Screw playing against Bruce Mouat, his shot making is unreal. The Swiss didn't do much wrong but Bruce was just phenomenal in with the shot making with the final 2 stones in the 10th. Donathan
Mouat the best Scottish sportsman at the moment?
Caledonian1
Great opening win for Scotland in the Worlds - beat Germany 12-5. Rebecca Morrison was excellent as skip and delighted for her after not being able to play last year due to Covid. Tough gig taking over from Eve too.
Caledonian1
Jeeso after praising Rebecca Morrison earlier she somehow manages to throw away a 8-5 lead going into 10th and final end by losing a 4 - clear the stones lassie, clear the stones. Lost two matches today to now sit 1-2
Caledonian1
Two straightforward wins out of two for Scotlands men in the Worlds so far - currently in the 7th end of their third game V Sweden (3-3) Hopefully Mouat and his rink can get gold this time.
Caledonian1
Scotland currently leading 4-1 v USA in World Championships after three ends. All going pretty well for Mouats rink- a win would take them to 5-1 and in a good position to qualify. Sweden unbeaten and looking good once again.
Caledonian1
Big day ahead for Scotland. Play Norway this evening then Canada at midnight (our time) A couple of wins could be good enough to get straight into the semis (two very winnable matches tomorrow) One win and a defeat should be enough for play-offs and a couple of defeats might make the play-offs just out of reach. Currently 6-2 record and tied fourth.
Caledonian1
Brilliant win for Scotland v Norway - a 3 in the ninth end finishes the game at 9-5
Ignoramus
The team seems to be picking up momentum as the comp continues, big game against the Canadians tonight, might seal top two with a win as the Swiss still to play Sweden.
Caledonian1
Beat Canada 6-3 so definitely qualified for the play-offs now. Trying to work out how two wins today can get us straight to the semis. Scotland currently 8-2 as are Norway but both Switzerland and Sweden have only lost one game (although this can't remain the case as the play each other later today) Sweden also play Canada tonight. If teams are level on wins I think it is on head to head so I would imagine Scotland would prefer Switzerland to beat Sweden and Canada to also beat Sweden then Scotland would end up on 10 wins alongside Norway in joint 2nd and go ahead on the head to head. and straight into a semi final. Thats assuming all other games go to form (Scotland and norway win remaining matches) 1 Switzerland 11 10 1 Q 2 Sweden 10 9 1 Q 3 Norway 10 8 2 Q 3 Scotland 10 8 2 Q 5 Canada 10 7 3 Q 6 Italy 10 6 4 7 Japan 10 5 5 8 Czech Republic 10 3 7 8 Germany 10 3 7 8 United States 10 3 7 11 Türkiye 10 2 8 12 New Zealand 10 1 9 13 Korea 11 1 10 sorry, no idea why Scotland and Sweden flags so small......or all others so big more like. peasy23
Scotland into the final where they face Canada
Ignoramus
The Italians very nearly stole it in the 10th with an absolutely inspired split but the third counter was just out of the house. The Canadians really seemed to have picked up momentum in the last four games and have been playing out of their skins so this is going to be a big ask but Mouat has lots of experience playing them.
Caledonian1
final Live on BBC iPlayer at 9pm tonight also on Eurosport 2 Whilst Canadians have gathered some momentum the past few days their last defeat was to Scotland on Thursday and Scotland have won their last seven. Should be a great final in front of a big Canadian support.

flyingscot
The Mouat rink is just outstanding. Really well deserved and beating Canada in Canada is nicely reminiscent of 2009.
Donathan
This rink have looked like future world champions for a long time and I’ve loved every minute of it. First of many I hope.
senorsoupe
Congratulations to Scotland, they played a heck of a game yesterday. Honestly, the standard of curling in this worlds has been fantastic, there were 7 or 8 teams who were legit capable of winning. I had been hoping to make it out to one of the midweek draws but bad weather scuppered those plans. The future of Curling is bright
