AI restores a Rembrandt

The missing edges of Rembrandt’s painting The Night Watch have been restored using artificial intelligence.

Museum visitors will now be able to see changes including:

Three figures on the left-hand side (two men and a boy)

A complete helmet on the right side of the painting

A clearer view of a boy in the left foreground, running away from the militia

Repositioning of the painting's composition, so its figures are in different places

to be perfectly honest if the guy on the right was a complete helmet I'm surprised he was included in the first place

Have any P&Bers tried restoring a masterpiece via AI and how successful were you?

Some of the rudest, most unhelpful bastirts I've ever met work(ed) in that shop.

I make no bones admitting when there was a ginormous fire there last year I hoped it was that place. Alas, it was across the road.
