Celtic v Hearts

After catching us cold on the opening day of the season, a more settled team along with hopefully another defensive addition by the time of the match, coupled with the feel good factor of a couple of wins with a few goals rattled in and, one would like to think a win on Thursday, Hearts will be facing a more prepared and stronger Celtic on Sunday.

Match should hopefully go ahead in front of a full house with, one would like a think a decent away support from Edinburgh as well in the first weekend match in front of a near capacity Celtic Park in a year and a half, looking forward to this immensely, hoping to see James McCarthy in contention here to see what he has to offer in the Scott Brown shaped hole in the Celtic midfield.

3-1 to Celtic. Kyoto, Turnbull and Abada to score for the hoops with Boyce on the scoresheet for the Jambos ☘

Still a 50/50 gate split I believe. 😁

Interesting to see if Celtic actually put fans in the away corner. (Don’t get a ticket there, the view is awful compared to the main stand)

I expect a bit of a revenge thumping in this one, we won't get away with having as little possession and getting a result this time.

Pretty poor show from them not giving us any tickets in essentially a full capacity minus "red zone". Makes you expect Hearts to return the favour by cutting their allocation at Tynecastle.

So you're in the habit of watching games from Parkhead's main stand, eh? Big team found!

I watched Scotland v England & Scotland v Ireland in 2014 from Celtic’s main stand. I would say it was better than Ibrox main stand, (also been in at Scotland games) though the away corner at Ibrox is probably better than the away corner at Celtic.

That would be wonderful but I cant see it happening, £150,000 worth of ticket sales will not be refused by Hearts.

Owe Hearts an absolute pumping for letting them off on the hook on the 1st day of the season.
Any less than 4 going past them won’t do.
5-1 to the good guys in green
By letting us off the hook you mean being outplayed and outscored by the better team?

Not sure you can outplay a team when you concede 75% of the possession and have less shots on goal. Outwork, outhustle, outsmart and outscore absolutely but the outplaying part is a fantasy.

This will be addressed today however
