Although, to be fair, he had every right to lose the plot at the referee that day. Absolutely hilarious but I think it showed how much passion the man has got for football
Tattie36
Just as well Campbell wasn’t in charge for the game at home, also v Ayr in March 2013. We lost 1-4 mostly due to Dallas giving Ayr two of the softest penalties you could ever imagine. The second one, if I remember correctly, was for the Ayr player jumping to unsuccessfully attempt to reach a high cross which went over his head. No appeals from Ayr and no contact from an Arbroath player. I was convinced Dallas had a bet on that day as there were just too many weird decisions. Had Campbell been in charge then he might have been getting out of gaol about now.

Rumour is that Arbroath player Scott Robertson offered Dallas a square go in the car park after that performance
rodricoh
The one I remember was at Brechin. We won easily with goals from Sutton. Campbell had a hissy fit when he ran on the pitch berated the referee, took his bunnet off, threw it on the ground and stamped viciously on it. The referee sent him to the quaint wee stand and he had to be escorted off.
