If Ayr fans brick our buses instead of racially abusing people then that’s a hit I’m willing to take.

Not forgetting the sectarian abuse directed at Afolabi when he was sent off against Raith at Somerset....

Plenty racist chanting coming from the away end last night, while I didn't hear it in our end I've no doubt it was sung there too.

Felt the atmosphere was crap last night, folk in SRE probably think it was good and loud but could barely hear anything out on the terrace.

The daft arrival times worked out nicely, I arrived 5 mins before kick off and walked straight into the ground

Shocking. Absolutely shocking.

Racist chanting and smashing bus windows - Ayr really are taking the whole Rangers love in too far.

So both our team buses got bricked on the way out last night.....

People of South Kilmarnockshire... it's not big & it's not clever 😠

Thought it was one bus that got bricked?

I'm assuming there is some inaccuracy in the article as there is no way the killie buses should have been anywhere near the "white city area" . If a police escort took them that way someone needs to have a word with them.

Pathetic behaviour though. Probably makes our buses a target on the 2nd now

I thought that myself, there was no need for them to be at white city as the buses picked the players up at the hospitality gates. Should have went up the SR and onto whitletts road

Both buses were bricked though windows smashed only in 1 bus.

It makes absolutely no difference what route the buses take. Are you trying to justify that as a reason for bricking the buses?  Anyone who throws bricks at opposition football teams bus is scum.

You’re the type of guy who questions why women wear short skirts aren’t you?

Scum who brick buses are yobs first and football fans second. If they're not bricking buses, they're in all probability terrorising their own communities. I have no evidence for this, of course, just decades of observing typical yob behaviour, some of which has affected me personally.

This is true, the people involved in bricking the buses probably weren’t even Ayr fans but most likely just your local idiots.

Which is why we should pick the entire town of Ayr up and just chuck it all in the bin.

No one has remotely said it is justifiable,  however opposition buses stopped taking specific routes in more high profile games.

So yes, it does make a difference which way the bus goes - if you have an ability to think rationally.

Obviously it was all self inflicted and the buses deserved to be stoned. Perhaps best avoiding Ayr altogether next time rather than encourge scumbags to brick the buses. Nae bother I now understand your rational thinking.

Yes, that is exactly what I said.

Kilmarnock have a few decent posters on here, but seem to have a disproportionate amount of brain dead morons.

I wasnt condoning anything. Anyone that throws bricks at vehicles is absolute moron who deserve a jail sentence. Just found it odd the buses went near white City from a driving perspective.

As for that comment about women, no need for it at all. Scum behaviour

Well that was an enjoyable evening. As I suspected, there was no silky football but I thought it was a good hard game with nothing between the teams in the first half. Second half TBH was pretty one sided apart from the opening five minutes when Ayr should have scored. God knows how things would have gone if they had, however from then on they just weren't in it, not sure if they sat back deliberately or were forced into it. I thought McKenzie was brilliant in the more central role I have been pushing for all season and couldn't believe the space Waters had in the second half. Also felt sorry for your striker who seemed to hold his own against our central two but had no back up whatsoever, why no support?

Some questions for the Ayr fans,- why no cover on the NT?

Secondly, and this is not fishing, how can you bear to stand for two hours every second week in the conditions you do? I know you can say you prefer to stand and can do so at away grounds if you want, but at least there you will have the chance of a seat for a wee while if you want. I stood for three hours last night and my old legs are grumbling today.

Onwards to the next derby then...................................how many sleeps?

Oh, by the way. Totally agree with the last poster,  scum behaviour and no excuses.
