Week 7

Starting to feel that things are turning against Shanahan at SF. He's only had one winning season in 5 (or 6) years now and it's looking likely that he will add a second this campaign. The secondary is woefully weak even before some of the injuries. Despite a pretty decent looking offence (at least one of the better ones that have been in place at Levi's since Shanahan arrived) the continual chopping and changing between Lance and Jimmy G is doing neither of them any favours and as a result it seems difficult to get anything going. They might get a win against Chicago but I can see them being utterly slaughtered by the Cards and Rams the following two weeks after that.
This is Shanahan's 5th season, and the 4th time the 49ers have been .500 or less through the first 6 games. Stats don't lie, instead of building on the one good season when they should have won the Superbowl but lost due to some dubious play calls, it looks increasingly like a fluke season.

The Jets v Patriots will be interesting. After years of New England just having to turn up to beat the Jets, the landscape in the AFC East isn’t as clear cut any more. Will be one to keep an eye on.

Go Jets. 😀

What idiot posted the above? Clearly, the Patriots could field Taylor Swift as quarterback, and the judges from ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ as offensive linemen, and still put 50 plus points up on the hapless and hopeless Jets.

If anyone sees this ‘pozbaird’ character around, give him a slap for me.
