FFC 1876
Got brought up in our thread and I'm curious to see the views of other teams fans. If you could have a squad of any 20 players from our league who would you have in it and what would be your starting 11? I can't choose between our two goalkeepers as I think they are equally as good as eachother and I also have a severe lack of defenders as I think there are a severe lack of decent defenders in this league. Martin/Mutch Williamson Fox Dixon Mccann Morrison Telfer Connell Longridge Goodwillie Megginson Subs: Muir Ballantyne Fyvie Gillespie Webster Henderson Nesbitt Easton Mcinroy Edited November 8, 2021 by FFC 1876
Jan Vojáček
That's a lot of Falkirk players for an all-star squad... Paddy Martin Michael Doyle Callum Fordyce Paul Dixon Andrew Steeves Liam Brown Kerr McInroy Louis Longridge Dylan Easton Callum Smith David Goodwillie Would swat aside most jobber squads in this league for me. As squad players: GK: Willie Muir DF: Charlie Fox, Harry Milne, Craig Watson. MF: Cammy F Ballantyne, Kerr McInroy, Charlie Telfer, Graham Webster ST: Mitch Megginson, Simon Murray I've not see Luca Connell play for QP yet and I've not seen Alloa in the flesh. But if you gave me that squad I'd be feeling quite confident about winning this league. Edited November 9, 2021 by Jan Vojáček

NavyBlueArmy1876
Two of our best players have missed most of the season through injury but I'm sticking them in anyway along with Martin and Nesbitt. Martin Williamson Fordyce S Morrison Steeves L Brown C Morrison Nesbitt Easton Longridge Goodwillie Subs: Muir, Dixon, Fox, Telfer, Webster, Megginson, Murray With the likes of Ballantyne, McCann, Milne, S Brown, Fyvie & Henderson unlucky to miss out That team would waltz to the league title. Not exactly the most defensively minded midfield, but it wouldn't matter because you'd be scoring at least 5 goals a game
CoveRangers1922
My team below, only Mitch and Harry Milne from Cove. Latter is a stellar left back but appreciate many others will go for Steeves. This reaffirms my thoughts of how offensively limiting our centre midfielders are to others in the league. Subs: Parry Ballantyne Telfer L Brown Henderson Nesbitt Easton McAllister Logan Edited November 8, 2021 by CoveRangers1922

Subs: Parry Ballantyne Telfer L Brown Henderson Nesbitt Easton McAllister Logan Which Ballantyne, Cammy Ballantyne, or Cammy F Ballantyne? I’d have both in the super League one team. See you’ve pinched our goalie also The Mo have conceded the least goals, says a lot about the defence, Dillon especially, has a calm heed, when he gets the ball it’s as if he has all the time in the world. You only have McAllister as a sub?

Rory as an impact sub!
cb_diamond
Just clone Dylan Easton and Kerr Mcinroya bunch of times and you'd win the world cup...
diamondman
With only Fordyce and Easton cropping up consistently so far, plus McInroy ( a few games in truth), Watson and Smith on the side-lines here and there we seem to have a team performing ( sometimes) better than the individual parts to bring about our dalliance with the top of the league. I'll take that fellow P & B' ers. I might disagree in some respects but it is just an opinion in the end,

Aufc
You really have to admire falkirk fans that, even after 2-3 seasons of their players being honking (quite a few of the same players consistently as well), they still put most of them in their “best” team from the league

Surprised to see that you're the only person to include McCabe so far, given how much he strolls it. Some of the Falkirk fans teams though. Slate their team week in week out, yet include most of them in best league 11. Comedy at its finest.

You can have good players but when they are then surrounded by absolute guff you aren't going to perform well as a team. Williamson's been out injured for the majority of the season and therefore most weeks we've had a defence which included Gary Miller and one of either Ben Hall or Brad Mckay so it's no wonder we've been conceding shocking goals. You'll also notice nobody will have a Falkirk striker in their team not even on the bench which again shows why we've been poor this season. So to sum up yes I absolutely think we have some of the best players in the division but we also have a good number of absolute diddies.
