craigkillie
The correct time to get rid of him was before they hired him, just a baffling appointment in the first place.
stevoraith
The only disappointment from a Raith point of view this season so far is that we had two attempts and didn’t manage to beat a Dunfermline team managed by an utter buffoon.

How about shipping a 4-0 lead with 20 mins to play ?

1320Lichtie
With the Premiership winter break we will have Nouble for 8 more league games. Meaning we will only play 13 league matches without him.

They have a league game right at the start of January, and even if they aren’t planning to use him in that, they may well want him back and completely integrated into their squad over the break, rather than just getting him back in time for the games at the end of the month.

We have a Q+A with one of the owners and Yogi. Hopefully the question gets asked why 80+ applicants were ignored for him. An absolutely mad decision that has cost us a genuine chance at promotion.

Get what you mean but he is basically fully integrated already still training with them through the week at the moment. We will see.

Just remember big Yogi is a good pal of Grant, you wouldn’t want him bouncing off the stage and lamping someone. But you are right, what a season to pick a worse manager than Alex Dyer.

Not a single Dunfermline supporter would disagree with you. Hopefully there’s some sort of explanation/apology at tonight’s fan Q&A.
HoBNob
Our only hope for the playoffs would be Nouble leaving absolutely crippling Arbroath, and the alleged fallout from Gardyne absolutely doing Inverness. Mid table nobody's with plenty time to figure out next seasons recruitment might not be the worst.

Nouble is brilliant, very influential and will be hugely missed but there’s much more to this Arbroath team than him, or any other individual for that matter. Arguably Nicky Low’s absence could have had more of a detrimental effect but our form has held up pretty well even without his creativity and energy in midfield.

But yeah between him and Low they’re the 2 main players. We will need to change our game slightly when Nouble goes it’s simply a case of kick the ball close to him just now and he takes us well up the park. We were top 4 form end of last season so it’s not end of days stuff without the big man
Sortmeout
Biggest season in 30 years for Ayr and look at the state of them. Hilarious.

When we beat Ayr at the tail end of last month, for 45 minutes they looked completely disinterested. As you mention, Caley have stuff going on behind the scenes and they've only won once in their last six matches. The Partick game should be a bit of an acid test to show the Yogi effect.

We'll also probably go abroad on a winter training camp and will probably want him away with us then to get him fully built into the system. A huge benefit that he's still training with us but I imagine we'll take him back early

Pretty much this, he still trains full time with us, spends a few days at Arbroath during the week and games with them. The worry for Arbroath will be if we're doing a warm weather training camp that we want him with us for, there's arguments to be made for him playing games and staying fit but also points to be made about getting a mid-season camp in with us and a bit of rest to stay fresh.
parsforlife
In the 45 games between sides in the top 5 against sides in the bottom 5 they have lost only 3. No wonder there’s such a gap.
