If he makes it clear to the players that they are playing for their jobs and an opportunity to carry on at the club he migbt get a response out if some of them. On the flip side, mind how it went under McKinnon in the last couple of weeks before the January window..... Mind he lost the head after getting pumped off Dunfermline and said there were a few that would never play for the club again having massaged their egos for a good few weeks prior.
