TheGoon
Enjoyed that, decent action throughout and easily the best Reigns/Lesnar match. Nothing too different from previous WWE PPVs though and the most notworthy stuff happened at the very start of the show. Even if it’s through Theory interference, they’ve gotta have Drew win in Cardiff.
Mark Connolly
There were a couple of things that really stood out for me last night, and neither were the actual wrestling. Michael Cole and Corey Graves at one point made a pretty blatant dig at the fact Vince wasn't in Cole's ear any more, and Drew's entire promo about it being Lesnar and Reigns for the first time ever. Neither of those things would have happened a few weeks ago, and if they had, everyone involved would have been future endeavoured this morning. It just all seemed to be far more relaxed, and the show benefitted as a result. Definitely the best Summerfest I've seen since Jeremy Piven
Sherrif John Bunnell
I thought was a pretty solid show overall. The main event was exactly the level of ridiculousnesses you want from a Brock Lesnar match in 2022. I was convinced he was going to kill someone with that tractor.
forameus
It was a good solid show, although not quite as remarkable as it maybe could have been. Probably not too much of a surprise given how quickly everything happened. The Cardiff show is probably an anomaly, as I'd imagine they would have wanted to make that big no matter who was in charge, but it's going to be really interesting to see once they get back to the US for Extreme Rules in October, and then definitely for Survivor Series in November. That's hopefully going to be when there's been enough time to seed stories and new approaches. Survivor Series especially given that now they've unified a lot of belts, they can't do their usual champion vs champion stuff. As for the Summerfest itself, definitely a statement of intent put out early with the debuts. Bayley being back is massive, and Io and Kai are really good additions. Also got Becky back where they presumably want her. But after that the rest of the show (up to the main) kind of fell into the same pattern we've had for a long time. Everything was good, some things were really good, but nothing really jumped out as being an absolute classic. The main event wasn't either, but it was proper stupid fun, and that's something WWE need to get back to at times. Slight marks off for the match never really building to an ending and kind of petering out, but all in all not bad. Would've been a far better end to a feud had it not been the 513th time they'd faced each other though.
FifeArab
62800 tickets sold for Cardiff so far with just under 9000 tickets left. Considering the prices that’s a fantastic sale.

DA Baracus
Will be good to watch a PPV at a normal time, all done in time for MOTD. Should be decent. Seems like they're actually treating it seriously and not like the shitey Rebellion ones they did in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Can't wait.

jacobsladder
Ok I’m just going to say it - Roman will retain both belts - he will keep them till Cody recovers then do a big hand off at Mania when Cody wins the Rumble- then after that they decide a way to split the belts and then they will hand off one of them to Drew

Just think it’d be such a shame to end a show this big with yet another Reigns win.
forameus
I'd go as far as saying that if they don't have Drew go over, it'll undo pretty much all of the good feeling around the WWE recently, and even sink it deeper. I personally think they could have done more with Reigns finally dropping, but there really isn't a whole lot more you can do with him now. Who do you have him go up against? He's just convincingly beaten WWE's final boss in Lesnar, and there just isn't an available face that you have built up well enough to face him. Cody was probably the option - and might well have been there already if it wasn't for the injury, but this is too big an opportunity to pass up. Give Drew the moment he's never really had thanks to Covid, let him hold for a little while, and let Reigns have a bit of a rest. If the plan is to go with the Rock for WM, the title should not be involved, so let him rest until Royal Rumble to start that build.
Mark Connolly
Drew getting buried at what is essentially a home town show would be a classic Vince move, so whatever happens maybe gives an insight into whether or not he still has his fingers in the pie.
Bert Raccoon
Drew should just spend Friday night getting full of crack cocaine and wing it, worked for the Bulldog at Wembley

forameus
I really hope they're filming everything for one of those WWE 24 things. First show Trips has had a chance to properly run with a good build, potentially Drew's win, and any other mad shit they plan.
Sherrif John Bunnell
There's no way Reigns is losing clean, but I think they could get away with with a slightly flukey win for Drew and it still being a huge moment. I can see an assist from Zayn and Owens, especially with the rumours that Uso #3 is about to be called up to Smackdown.
