Foundation of Hearts vs The Well society

Recommended Posts

Thank goodness that I didn't go to this game. Seems to have beena another stinker.

Alexander needs to work on our performance, especially away from home. St Mirren this mid week is now a must win with Celtic coming around next Sunday. We have been lucky that the teams blow us have also been dropping points at the same time but this is just inviting more teams into the race for the top 6.

If we do manage to get in the top 6 I can see us getting 5th atleast but no more than that.

We've been utter shite since coming back from the winter break. So many loose balls offered up to Hearts in the middle of the park throughout the game. Goss and Shaw need to learn that putting the foot through the ball is sometimes more beneficial than their sand dancing, shitebag nonsense. Two completely avoidable goals conceded due to being slack to schoolboy levels, for which there is absolutely no excuse

Even given that though, Hearts were easily the better team over the 90 mins. On paper we have the makings of a very decent top half side, Alexander needs to find the right permutation for us to realise that quickly or our so far promising season could quickly go in to a tailspin.

Scotrail Twitter earlier had a list of stations they had replacement buses running to/from. Stirling to Edinburgh was amongst them so worth keeping a wee eye on there mate.

The info is in the pinned tweet.

18:25 train back after another couple of pints, makes the day worthwhile, what was the score?

Better team won in the end. Motherwell look a bit toothless without Watt.

It was disjointed at times but then with Wednesdays injuries and a bit of rotation was always going to be. Simms looks the business and Beni is unreal, his awareness is so good.

Comfortable win and could've had more despite not playing well. Van Veen missed a great chance, but apart from that I don't think we were really troubled.

Sibbick looked very good and we should've had a penalty for a blatant foul on Halliday.

Want to see Slattery's challenge on Souttar again, looked a bad one at the game but could be wrong.

On to the Derby.

I think they may have been talking about our singing.  We never really woke up until we scored.
