Honest_Man#1
Having to leave Edinburgh after work at peak rush hour to get there, might be a struggle to make kick off. Anyone got suggestions for best place to park?
KTID65
Park in Tesco or the old Safeway car park, don’t come the Queens drive though, roadworks there are a nightmare.

Anyone got suggestions for best place to park? Unlikely you'll find anything around the Stadium (that's like a ground but bigger and fancier) The car park at Halfords is probably your best bet. I think they still park the away bus('s) there.

Cheers.

Superhursty7
Really looking forward to this now Win lose or draw as long as we have a go and try and win and not play not to lose, I'll be reasonably happy, predicting a score draw.

Maxwell can be good against sides where we are looking to counter attack and he has space to run into. Like McKenzie he generally offers very little against sides defensively organised, though he does still offer more than McKenzie does. I can just about accept two out of the three playing, as long as the one who isn’t is on the right hand side and replaced by someone who can actually attack. Maxwell is one of the few players capable of creating something and/or scoring. You’re going to get times where he drops in and out of games, that’s a given with his age and it’s why he’s on loan with us, but I find it incredible that any Ayr fan would not want him starting every week given the squad we have at the moment.
Fide
Mad innit, for towns of a similar size (circa 46k each, more for Ayr if you add on Prestwick) the huge disparity between success and attendance between the two teams. Is there any particular reason why Ayr don’t have a bigger following?

Is there any particular reason why Ayr don’t have a bigger following? Human nature is unless people have a family connection to a club, they generally want to support teams who win most of the time. That’s why you see kids running about with Barca, Man Utd, Man City replica shirts more than teams from their own country. The fact that Rangers and Celtic are based 40 minutes away from Ayr doesn’t help and the fact that the media in this country, TV/Radio/Papers pretty much tells you only 2 teams exist doesn’t help either.
