If only United accepted the Athletic deal offered in 2021… players, sponsorship, board shake up… unfortunately for you, it was declined by your board members …now it’s a case of “look over your shoulder”. The Athletic are coming.

Athletic deal?

Board members?

Please explain .

Only one BU goal in the last 5 league games........a Tom Grant penalty v Berwick.

Did we create enough chances in those 5 games ?  NO is the answer.

Think you are spot on Dave. Some of our play is good and I can’t criticise the effort but we offer absolutely no threat going forward. We really need our attacking midfielders to be creative and also to chip in with some goals which in turn offers support to the strikers who couldn’t buy a goal just now. Maybe a change in formation from 4:3:3 to 4:4:2 would be more effective.
It’s time to try something different,

Deal offered to BU board members before Athletic was formed. Unilaterally declined without any member vote.

Athletic then formed.

Opportunity was there. Don’t believe everything you hear from the BU terraces and especially the current BU board.

What was the deal though and what board are you referring to?

1. Dibaga 2. Locke 3. Ward 4. McCormack 5. McArthur 6. Johnston 7. Miller 8. Stevenson 9. Penker 10. Jones 11. Walker

Max favours the 4-2-3-1

Today we had Nicky Locke struggling at Right back .........a player who has regularly played at centrehalf while McCormack and McArthur are both better in the Right back slot.  No idea what Max was thinking with that one.

The defensive two were Ryan Stevenson and Kyle Johnston.  Ryan is not a defensive midfielder.......he needs to be far higher up the park.  Gemmell was a big miss in that position today.

Miller Jones and Walker as the 3 attacking midfielders weren't able to break though the Celtic defence but they gave it a bash.

Up top number 9 Jamie Penker never troubled 19 year old Celtic Centrehalf Bosun Lawal.  To be honest I don't think many LL forwards could take him in a 1 v 1 situation.  Impressive unit who is listed on the Celtic website as 5'9" .......aye right and the rest.

Offer was declined.

Time to be open with your supporters and members. You should have put it to your members to vote on.

There was no offer made at meeting especially as you and your pal had already applied to join EoS as athletic

And you know this as you plotted it while in linlithgow bunker

Unlikely to happen now. That was before the change in strategy.
7-3 victors over a full strength Rose team. It’ll be a trouncing over a BU team. No friendlies between the teams on the cards now.

It was a bounce game mate.  Your lot treated it like a cup final.

The Rose players had been on a team night out the day before.

If your using that as an argument to show how far you have come think again.

You fucked up tier 9 last season, it's a crap league you're in, calm down.

That be closed doors friendly where you opened up to public without telling the rose pocketing the money and posted all over social media knowing that rose players had been out nite before cowboys
