glensmad
We are delighted to confirm that striker Ryan McManus will be joining the club on 1st July 2022 when his current contract with Ashfield expires. Ryan scored 32 competitive goals for Ashfield in season 2021-22 and we hope that he will produce a similar scoring rate at Glencairn.
glensmad
We are proud to announce to our members and supporters that we have today received formal confirmation of our acceptance as full members of the Scottish Football Association with effect from the governing body's Annual General Meeting on 21st June 2022. Consequently Rutherglen Glencairn will now compete in next season's Scottish Cup for the first time in the club's 126-year history. This is the culmination of a project which has been ongoing for almost three years, however it has been a particularly intensive period of work for the club's Management Committee since the club's members gave their approval to the committee to make a formal Scottish FA Membership application last October. We would like to thank everyone who has played their part in this achievement, both at the club and those at other clubs who have helped us in the process. We are particularly delighted to bring Scottish Cup and senior football back to the Royal Burgh of Rutherglen, and we look forward to the whole town getting behind their own senior football club as we set out on this new adventure and era in our history.

Might as well get the other obvious talking points out of the way. Rent money from them would probably come in handy though? I doubt they'll be at New Douglas Park permamently from now on. The consequences of not paying the rent at Hamilton will be bit more medieval than a strongly worded letter from the council.

AM-1
Anyone sniffing about players such as Schoneville or Mitchell? These 2 are very good footballers and wouldn't surprise me if teams from the Premier came calling.
