PossilYM
Don't think East Craigie have played an away game yet in the Junior Cup so this should be interesting.

And we haven't played a home game, four wins all away from home - Greenock Juniors, Tayport, Gartcairn and Larkhall Thistle.
Fredeye
Where is the neutral venue likely to be? Will you be putting on a bus?

The venue is still to be decided, so all arrangements will be decided once the venue is announced.
glensmad
Apart from the opening five minutes, that was rank rotten from us today. The league table doesn't lie, and we're slap bang mid table tonight with 6 wins, 6 draws and 5 defeats. We had a terrific January with 4 wins out of 4, but our form in February has been nowhere near that standard, 2 league defeats and a tight win last week at Larkhall in the Scottish Junior Cup. There's still a long way to go in the league, but we need to find consistency of performance over the remaining 13 games. On to the WoSFL Cup next Saturday now.

A very strange question. Yesterday's game was a league match, our performance yesterday has absolutely nothing to do with our Scottish Junior Cup run.

What I mean is that Rutherglen v East craigie is a shocking standard for a Scottish cup semi final, two clubs who would have been nowhere near it when it was all in . Tell me otherwise and when was the last time dross like this were near a semi final outwith now as it's totally diluted.? -
PossilYM
1 hour ago, glensmad said: Correct, Sunday 16th April, 2pm. Fair play to the SJFA. Don't know if you had any input glensmad but the venue and time at least tries to accommodate the fans using the rules in place. Neutral venue tick Sunday tick Public transport links tick A Sunday kick off gives the neutral an option to go along plus see a game on the Saturday. Certainly good general transport links for us in the West. Bit of common sense regarding the date, no point in saying it doesn't matter if it clashed with the Glasgow giants playing each other. So again, fair play.

That's the problem though it's history though and the whole tournament has lost its appeal , do you honestly think you're the best team in Scotland if you win it nowadays compared to yesteryear ?

PossilYM
So Rutherglen Glencairn get to the Junior Cup semi final and no congratulations. Naw it's P&B so let's go on and post about it being a diddy cup and Glencairn are a diddy team. Wonder what the critic thought of Wishaw getting to the semi final a few seasons ago.

When it was all in it was a more measured level though don't you agree? Don't you even agree a tiny bit that it's a diluted version of its former self ? Be honest with yourself.
