Ground sharing is the reason the Lowland League need to wait for the SPFL fixtures to be announced.

Do you know if lowland league teams enter from round 1 in the scc?

It is "all in" so expect about half of the 16 Lowland League teams (No B's  allowed) to be in the First Round.

Last season -Round 1 involved 70 teams in 35 games .

If my arithmetic is correct 93 teams got a bye in round 1.

Round 2 is 64 games (128 teams)

Too late for this season

None of the League's can do this unilaterally,  would need to be agreed by all League's involved,  not going to happen. Part of what is required to be part of Pyramid,  for better or worse.

Typical arrogance by the old Junior thinking , last to the party and still think they can choose the playlist.

There's the answer for you. Hope that helps.

Thinking that the very existence of groups such as Welfare/Amateur/Juniors now, in the modern era with a pyramid in place, is just out of date. The only justification seems to be to keep the groups' Blazers happy? ......... and, maybe me being a cynic, to try to cause distractions/disruptions  e.g. add to fixture lists.

It didn't help.

What about freedom of choice?

It’s an SFA pyramid cup competition for all clubs south of the Tay.

Junior Cup is a truncated glorified West Cup.

I didn't mention the Junior Cup, but since you did, club's can choose not to play in it.

Why can clubs not have the choice to play in the SCC?
