Billy Dodds can f**k off! More jobs for the boys.

Why has the 3-5-2 debate reared it's ugly head again, has McIntyre said somewhere that it's his favoured formation?

No, dont think he has. It was just a question on here, possibly prompted by the signing of another centre half?

It is far too early to rush to judgement and your allegation about 3-5-2 is based on speculation nothing more.

As described on the Ross County tactics website, under his charge at Dunfermline his teams lined up in a variety of formations….

4-4-2 with two wingers, Wullie Gibson higher up the pitch than the other, Joe Cardle.

4-2-3-1 with two holding midfielders that allowed an attacking four licence to attack.

In this formation, of the two holding midfielders, one was always spare and the positioning of the two wingers high up the pitch pinned teams back and caused them to rush when in possession.

In some matches he moved to a 4-2-4.

One of the few constants that can be identified is that McIntyre likes to play with a winger on each side.

McIntyre said…“Passing the ball is the one thing Dunfermline have been renowned for”, adding that “we’ll always try to pass the ball, we don’t bang it long…that won’t change.”

Full time club in having 3 centre half's shocker!

Four if you count McGuffie, 5 if you count McKenna who could play there in an emergency.

It would seem unlikely that Dowie has come here to be a back-up - although maybe he has - so that gives us 3 "first choice" centre halves. We only had two last season.

Any news on any keepers, the Annan game is only a few days away and we only seem to have young Jim?

Another closed game tomorrow with Clyde which maybe after that game we might hear if not then Jim or a trialist goalkeeper on Saturday.

The prices for the Annan game are Adults £10, Concessions & U16's £5 and U12's accompanied with an Adult Free.

Surely after the Annan game we will have a keeper and Sean Higgins signed.

Grant Adam is looking likr the keeper but hopefully we can agreed a deal with Rab Douglas

if not then Adam will have to do.

Hope big Rab can do us a turn.

Swartzear 40 signed for Chelsea age no barrier.

Heard from a source tonight that a Finnish keeper currently with Kilmarnock has been training with the club and looking on the Killie website it may be Anssi Jaakkola?
