In the last twelve weeks, we've played at home twice.

It seems crazy that in a season which lasts nine months and in which we'll play a minimum of twenty one competitive games at home, we only play a tiny fraction of them during what is effectively the season's middle third.

The weather has not of course impacted on this at all.

Seems crazy when you think about it, right enough.

I'm happy enough with that. I think I'd be more depressed if we had had 10 home games out of the last 12

Does that mean you've got a fixture pile-up looming?

We don't particularly have a fixture pile up looming. We have played less than everyone else other than Raith and do have 3 or 4 midweek games to fit in somewhere on top of the Hibs one that's scheduled for midweek in the first place but they are all away. It's unrelated to the lack of home games but not very helpful The games that were off at St Mirren and Dumbarton would have been played had we been at home those weeks and the one at Raith might have been, though snow may have put it off anyway. We've been a little unlucky with the way games fell on bad weather days.

We've had 2 home games in 12 weeks partly because of the way the fixtures fell, partly because we moved our Boxing Day game forward to October, partly because we got a 3rd round Scottish Cup bye, were away in the 4th round and knocked out so didn't play in the 5th round. It is what it is. There were physically only 3 home league games scheduled between November 22nd and February 12th and we moved the date of one of them.

We now have 15 games left to fit into 12 weeks. It's not exactly a pile up but the fact we'll lose an upcoming weekend game when Morton play in the cup is a pest too, and we may yet lose one when we're due at Ibrox too as it's an international weekend.

Whats strange about it? He's been out injured for a long time, is back in training but not ready for the squad.
Strange in the sense that he played the previous development game and these are the games he needs to be playing in as previously stated by Fowler. I'm guessing the fact he never played the last one is due to another injury

Who said he has to play in every single one? The latest update from Fowler said he is "training well". Hard to do that with an injury, but Im sure you're guess is right
