Everyone would say they want to play as high a level as possible be that league or lowland league but who knows we might not get out this league time will tell

They were one up at the oranges but hadn't really been making the keeper work and Thornton had missed a glorious chance to take the lead when the striker headed straight at the keeper when anywhere else would have been a goal. Into the second half and whilst the Dyes were on top they weren't really threatening but then Thornton went down to ten men for a second yellow and the Hibs fell apart - 2 goalkeeping blunders, 2 penalties and a couple more when the visitors were just killing time (including the last kick of the game) made it appear more comfortable than it had been. A deserved win but by six goals is overegging it! Wasn't impressed with the ref this evening either - seemed to make several decisions based on which player shouted the loudest, made one of the worst off side calls you'll ever see (the Syngenta player coming on a run from behind the entire defence was deemed off) and at one point gave a free kick to Hibs and then changed his mind and let Syngenta take it. The Dyes could soon be the Falkirk regions second best EoS team after Dunipace. Really yous got pumped from the worst team in The falkirk region

patriot1
A fierce battle saw St Andrews take the three points thanks to a Lewis Sawers double, the first from the penalty spot and the second a superb solo goal. Syngenta had loads of possession in the second half but created little. Having played well against Whitburn and beaten Syngenta Saints have to believe they are in the mix for promotion.

BojanK
Heard Lochgelly are still on the park trying to put the ball in the net. old fashioned battle today between Lochgelly and Craigy. Craigy probably deserved the result with the better chances but scoring with a bad cross finding the top corner with questionable at best goalkeeping. Craigy looking a no bad young side plenty energy and grit.
Burgh1909
Arniston 1 Newburgh 2 Our first points of the season with a very good display from our young side. It's been a very difficult 9-12 months at the club. We are a very young team now, but I am delighted for them to get a win that will mean so much for them and hopefully boost their confidence no end. A goal from Kellar Harris on 24 minutes and then a 25-yard screamer from Rory Marshall, with Arniston netting the rebound from a saved penalty with pretty much the last kick of the game in the 97th minute.
HibeeJibee
League tables - East of Scotland Football Association & League (eosfl.com) * Stirling University EOS have been deducted 3 points. HibeeJibee
'Derby day' tomorrow. Dalkeith v Easthouses in the Midlothian derby is at the surprise early leaders. Craigroyston v Edinburgh Utd in the Edinburgh derby pits 2 sides hovering above the relegation zone. Edinburgh South v Arniston finds both looking to press toward the top 3. Lochgelly v Thorton in the South Fife derby finds 14 places between the sides, while Newburgh v St Andrews in the North Fife derby are separated only by GD. Peebles v Hawick in the Border derby is an early relegation 6 pointer, similarly Tweedmouth v Ormiston. Stirling Uni EOS v Heriot-Watt Uni in the university derby sets 6th v 7th, the hosts having recently been felled 3pts for fielding an ineligible trialist. 'Match of the Day' is probably Whitburn v Syngenta - as last year's Conference X promoted pair and early title contenders clash.
