You are aware that Shankland cost £500k and every other player you mentioned was signed by Hearts on a free transfer, so I don’t know what point your making. Celtics current squad on the other hand, was signed for transfer fees of £35M+. Not really operating on the same level are they? What point were you trying to make with Gordon at £9M, is that because he previously went for that fee, many years ago? Eder Posted August 21, 2022 Share Posted August 21, 2022 Celtic didn't quite get going today even after taking an early lead. Awkward game for Hearts between the two Euro ties. We had a similar game at Tynecastle a few years back. Hearts are building a decent squad and Neilson managed the game well until the the last minute. Boyce was rightly booked for sheer stupidity. He could've slowly retreated and held up Hart taking a quick kick instead of picking the ball up that Hart has already placed. The first red was right but will need to see the second again. 100th time seeing Heart in the league today over 42 years. Just because in your opinion Gordon is as good as Hart doesn’t mean a thing. Your wage bill is also about 30 times the next closest team except Rangers. I don’t have a clue what that comparison between Jota and Kingsley is about.
