hk blues
Not surprised, he obviously knew he'd gone out at the top of his game.
Dons_1988
I’ll never forget the day his tactical nous stopped us getting beat 15-0. Respect.
coprolite
Great player. Him and Strachan were my favourites when i was a small child.
Bogbrush1903
I do wonder why he only won 4 Scottish caps...even with that paltry amount he still netted twice including once against the Auld Enemy (although the other was on a preseason tour of Canada). I suppose the answer will be that we had the luxury of many quality forwards back then but if that was the case then why were we blowing the cobwebs off Joe Jordan and taking him to Spain in 1982? We also were pitiful in our attempts to qualify for Euro84 so I'm convinced McGhee would've been worth a try as he was at the peak of his powers at the Dons.
