Forfar v East Fife

This is a game we must win. Despite how bad we've been it seems the majority of teams are as bad as each other. I'd already fancy Dumbarton, Stirling and Stenny for top 3 but there's an opportunity for one of the rest to stake a claim to join them, beat East Fife by more than 1 goal and we move above them.

I'm abandoning negativity and going very much glass half full in case you can't tell[emoji23]

Even this early in the season this falls into the cannot lose category. After what I witnessed last week I can’t see how that is possible. I was really hoping we would have a new manager in place but it doesn’t seem the board are in any hurry. One thing  our caretaker manager will need to come up with is a different strategy than last weeks shambles. Seems we can’t compete physically and lose every 2nd ball . We really should try and bolster the midfield with some physicality and at least compete and let the opposition know they aren’t going to get it all there own way. Big question mark over the two full backs as they have been miles off what’s needed for weeks. In the earlier game I this season there wasn’t much between the teams but i think we have regressed since then. Our only glimmer of hope is on the road we have picked up significantly more points than at Bayview. One thing il can assure  our caretaker management team is you won’t get out this league playing pretty football and the sooner they realise that you need to compete physically or you can forget it.

Early season form perhaps gave a false sense. Team in free fall, plummeting to where we maybe expected. No manager, chairman rather be elsewhere. Everything points to a home win.

My 8 year old reckons we always win a Forfar though. So I'm taking his advice, a freak 2-0 away win, keeping the wolf from the door before normal service resumes next week!

It's 2 nil to yourselves already. Perhaps your son underestimated how dreadful we are right now.

What are the chances of Harkins on at HT? 😱

I'm excited to find out how the board of directors tell us to feel about this weeks result.

How does this sound?

Forfar had two players that scored goals today, East Fife only had one so the board will say we outscored them.

Every player back for corners sums Irvine up. His negative, safety first approach is soul destroying.

He gone yet?

I could understand negative football like this if it was getting results but f**k me , we are getting thrashed every week. Something has to give
