I think rangers were right to give the goal back, it was obvious what was happening. ball out and they were giving it back. Everyone on the park out with Tillman knew what was happening. how no one was rad carded is baffling.

The Leeds one is completely different., they should never have given the goal back. The fundamental rule for players in football is play to the whistle, there was no whistle as the rules are unless it is a head knock the ref should play on. at least the ref tried to punish players in this one. Should have been more than 1 red.

PS. John terry is a cnut.

Without particularly disagreeing with you, I’m not sure how that would change this particular situation (or similar) given that we (Rangers) halted play by putting the ball out while we were in possession. The referee never stopped the match.

The study of fouls was just an aside.

You give up possession to seek treatment then you give it up. If the player in question is subbed then I’d be inclined to hoof it back to your goalkeeper.

To be fair to Tilman he waltzed through our midfield and defence, static like they were expecting the ball back so can understand him not picking up on it.

Why a teams fans so far ahead in resources have got their panties twisted over this is mind boggling.
