Spider1975 Posted May 19, 2023 Share Posted May 19, 2023 Queens Park: Released at Expiry of Current Contract Lewis Moore, Jake Davidson, Lee Kilday, Calum Biggar, Gregor Nicol, Max Gillies, Callum Yeats, Liam McQuaid Returning to Parent Club Mal Boateng, Marcel Oakley, Euan Henderson, Connor Shields, Josh McPake We've offered new deals to Louis Longridge and Charlie Fox Haven't heard anything re new signings (other than youth players) and fully expect not to hear anything until a new manager has been appointed. General consensus is that Davidson going was a bit of a surprise, as was a new contract for Longridge. I think his recent history of injury plus his comparative age (vs the rest of the squad and the Beukerball philosophy) have done it for him. Not too sure how much of QP's defensive issues recently were down to him but from a layman's point of view Fox is still young and has the attributes to develop (and therefore be a saleable asset) whilst Eze still has time left on his contract. I'm sure Kilday will do a decent job for someone though. He is only 31 -no great age for a centre half and still started 30 league games for us this season (and played pretty well for most of it.) Even if that turns out to be bullshit he is under contract for next season meaning a fee would be required.
