Was at this in your end today lads (not part of the mob of the lads with the pyro thankfully

You look a decent side, just needed a bit more composure on the ball at points. Could’ve been a different game if the ref had noticed the Morton number 5 going with the elbow into the back of your number 9s head just after half time.

Hard to tell from where we were sat but the red card was probably justified, if he’s through on goal and not really made an attempt to play the ball.

Craig Napier is a shocking ref but that’s obvious for everyone

Straight red card or second yellow and what for?

Sounds like it might’ve been a more closely contested match had BU not gone down to 10 men?

The highlights should clear it up but would say if it was our man through we would have been screaming for a red .

Ryan is not a full back full stop , he was skinned last week and this was a situation just waiting to happen .

Anyway , the boys did their best and a win would have been a shock but there was not 3 leagues between the teams in first half .

Another point , Porteous must be one ofI the most disappointing signings ever , has given very little to the cause .

Ryan was playing right back. The Morton winger cut past him and was heading towards the box. Ryan gave his arm a tug and the winger went down theatrically. There was a BU centrehalf providing cover. Not a clear GSO in my opinion.

The 10 men was effectively 9 for the last 2 goals as Scott Dalziel was crippled but we had made our 3 sub's by then.

Napier miles out his depth as Referee the incident with Dalziel was a clear red card but he chose to ignore it, Ryan’s tug on the winger was yellow not a Red as it wasn’t a GSO.
Musa was my MOT with his shot stopping keeping us in the game. Have to agree with Seenitall’s comment about Porteous imo a bit of a show pony - and continually hope to be prove wrong.

Back to the real world next week hopefully picking up points.

There was no red card at all in today's game IMO. The scoreline was hugely flattering to us - you did pretty well and deserved at least a goal. Fortunately our goalkeeper had a very good game to deny you - yours looks ready to play at a higher level too.

I was behind the goal for the red card incident and nobody was expecting anything more than a booking. If that didn't happen then it could have been a different result as we were not comfortable at 1-0 today.

The game was always controlled by Morton and they deserved to win. The result will always be tarnished by the red card though as Bo’ness had their chances either side of half time. All if buts and maybes
