  1. Personally would ban both champions due to Buckie's actions and let both of the best placed clubs compete in the play off.
  2. Some of the fights weren't the greatest and not really enough KOs/TKOs to get the crowd going. To be fair I didn't think the bar prices were too bad considering Hydro etc prices but having to cross the full arena to get outside and sit nearly an hour to get flat beer was far from ideal. Clancy was who I was excited to see and he looked impressive. Although I have no idea on how good his opponent was. UFC fight night on this weekend but none of the fights grab my attention too much.
  3. Yeah same, exciting to see so many Scottish fighters on the card. Sean Clancy Jr is probably the fighter i’m looking forward to seeing the most. First time going to any MMA event outside local shows so looking forward to it.
  4. Now the dust has settled on UFC300 is anybody attending the Cage Warriors in Glasgow (Braehead) this weekend?
  5. Took in the Armadale game today and it was a belter for the neutral. Was surprised to see Newburgh bottom of the league as they were a decent outfit but Armadale deserved their win in the end.
  6. Not checked myself but apparently you can watch it on Bet365. Probably have to place a bet on it first though.
  7. Jinxed it. Friendly vs Sauchie at Newtown Park now.
  8. Bo’ness probably don’t have too many individual standouts but it’s hard to see past Musa Digaba as GK and Michael Travis as one CB in a team of the year for me. Granted i’ve not seen enough of the other contenders in their position but those two have been key to our league position at the moment. Ryan Porteous was mentioned above and although he has decent numbers and has done alright in his first season at the club I can imagine there has probably been performers throughout the season.
  9. A bit much that. They’re young boys who tried to get into the football to watch their local team. Assuming they did something wrong not to get into the game but we were all young and stupid once right?
  10. The first half we were very direct and it was a sore watch tbh. Second half we mixed it up a bit and it definitely paid dividends. If that was down to Hunter and the coaching team then fair play to them because it made the difference.
  11. Game was pretty poor, especially that first half. Decent crowd though always good to see. Shame the Linlithgow young team never got in but i’m sure the stewards had their reasons
  12. Had far too much disappointing moments at Prestonfield over the years to be over confident about this one. We are certainly favourites but after the return fixture earlier in the season shows that there probably isn’t a massive amount between the teams and when all fit the Rose will be up the top end of the table next year.
  13. Very disappointing season for Tranent from the outside looking in. Expected them to really push EK for the league with the team they have. A decent manager away from being real contenders?
  14. Agreed, it’s been said plenty times on here on the state of the summer etc but when you look at the teams we have a chance/look likely of finishing above is incredible to be honest. The league will be a lot tougher next season though with a lot of teams already getting key players tied down so hopefully we do some more good business in the summer to add to the core that’s already signed up.
  15. The league itself is a shambles to be fair. A team winning a league basically by Jan/Feb but might not even get promoted. Teams fighting for a top 2/3/4 finish not knowing if it even qualifies them for anything. B teams buying their way into the pyramid but can’t go anywhere else in the pyramid (assuming they can’t get relegated). Not even looked at the relegation/promotion from the lower leagues but that’s probably a joke as well.
  16. Seen the lad who goes by the name "Oldham Groundhopper" was up in the Perth area taking in all/some of the games as well. I like a bit of groundhopping myself but these guys clearly make a huge effort to see these different grounds and fair play to them.
  17. Take it Jamie has performed well for you guys? Always liked him at Bo'ness and was sad to see him leave. His temperament was an issue now and then though.
  18. Will be an even tougher game with EK having an extra incentive on the 3 points today - would be good to spoil/delay the party. Hopefully we manage to take an impressive 3 cars full through today.
  19. Yeah Linlithgow Thistle if I remember right. Decent team as well.
  20. Is it correct that the Bo'ness v Linlithgow attendance was 906 instead of the 605 originally stated?
  21. Andy Murphy was another rumour i heard going around Newtown Park a few weeks back, that’s why I was so surprised to see Ruddy in goal at Cowdenbeath. Guess we’ve got a few months to look at Ruddy and if not up to it hopefully get Murphy in.
  22. Think it’s pretty clear Musa is on his way out. Not sure about McArthur. Hope he stays but won’t be as big a miss as he may have been 6 months ago.
