  1. On that, any further news on Mclean? Assuming that was his last trial game and will need to be signed for any upcoming games. Rumours going around Newtown Park that he's asking for far too much for this level (perhaps outwith EK anyway) but that source did reek of tonic wine.
  2. Highlights of today’s match - fair play to whoever managed to get a few minutes of footage out of that game. Also a a fairly decent few of the sending off for those that missed it.
  3. The red card was about 2:35pm.. Game wasn’t the best watch, subs played into The Roses hands and probably looked more threatening with 10 men. Roll on Saturday.
  4. Peter Crouch podcast is a decent listen if you can put up with all the advertisements these day. Sacked in the morning podcast is generally good as well, although there has been the odd guest you cant be arsed listening too. Also like Open Goal as well but do feel it has declined in quality over the years.
  5. Good to see. Will be good looking to add to a squad in the off season instead of trying to build one.
  6. The game was always controlled by Morton and they deserved to win. The result will always be tarnished by the red card though as Bo’ness had their chances either side of half time. All if buts and maybes
  7. Decent performance but 2nd half red card ruined the game. Unsure unsure whether it was deserved or not but would’ve been good to see the fame played out 11 each
  8. Seen a good few people looking for space on buses but doesn’t seem to be anything available. Not sure how many are heading through but could be a good few not going as a result.
  9. Random one but i’ve heard mixed reviews about the Norseman pub next to your ground, will it let in under 18s or will I tell my youngest brother to bring an extra jacket tomorrow?
  10. Does anyone know why BU attendances are so hard to get an official number? The boy from Musselburgh does decent work gathering data for the lower leagues but seems to struggle to get anything for Bo’ness.
  11. Don’t think it’s something we’ve been guilty off too much this season. Feel some of our best performances have been when the opposition are more possession based (Darvel, Celtic B, EK spring to mind). It’s more when we are forced to create chances it seems we end up giving them away. On the whole we seem comfortable when the opposition team have more of the ball which is going to be the case next weekend.
  12. Thought he was a decent player but unlikely to get much game time with us at the moment. Very surprising move to Tranent though.
  13. Football nostalgia always brings me to Batistuta in some way. Usually in his Fiorentina shirt but seen this photo of him with Totti the other day on twitter and made be think of there is a cooler duo ever to play the game.
  14. There's a grass bank behind the goals thats pretty comfy. If the rain stays off that is.
  15. I'd have to disagree with you on the cheque book manager statement. Yes there's definitely more to management than just being able to sign players - but being able to sign the highest paid (i'm assuming anyway) squad of players in the league and then being able to continue adding to that squad as you go on is a luxury that any manager would love. That being said it does look like they play great football going by the goals posted online - and I was impressed with them in a tight game against Bo'ness midweek.
  16. Can see him taking the job to be honest. I think the fact that even winning the league isn't enough to get promotion into League 2 could be enough to convince him.
  17. It doesnt look like long until some of that large squad will be sporting the Clyde jersey..
  18. East Kilbride have been pushing for promotion for a few seasons now so seem unlikely to go down the same route financially as Darvel in my opinion. MK clearly has a pool of players he likes though so may have a mid season rebuild on their hands.
  19. Very good game to watch in cold conditions. Disappointing not to get the draw in the end but good fight from the team to keep getting themselves back into the game. Poor start is what hurt us in the end.
  20. Going to be a very competitive league from top to bottom soon. Would be good to have more than 1 promotion/play off place as well. God knows how they’d go about that though.
  21. Agreed. Cant make it today anyway due to work but not a fan of the ground either, even after getting in for free last time around.
  22. Full strength and test yourself against one of the best sides in the world. Beat them and potentially qualify for the Euros (mathematically) on the same night and it could be one of those great nights at Hampden. Weird being this optimistic.
