Would start a new thread for this but not sure if its been covered before. I got an upgrade (4s to 5c) the other day and trying to restore my phone so that its got all my music, apps etc that my previous one had. Problem is my iPhone 5c isnt connecting to my laptop at all, its beeping when usb is inserted but that is it and also my girlfriends iPhone 5 did the same thing. My old phone worked without a problem at all so not sure if its a problem with apple or my laptop (samsung rv520) any ideas?

Didn't mind the character in fairness. Just think they could've used him better and not thrown him in fairly pointlessly in my opinion.
