  1. Agreed, it’s been said plenty times on here on the state of the summer etc but when you look at the teams we have a chance/look likely of finishing above is incredible to be honest. The league will be a lot tougher next season though with a lot of teams already getting key players tied down so hopefully we do some more good business in the summer to add to the core that’s already signed up.
  2. The league itself is a shambles to be fair. A team winning a league basically by Jan/Feb but might not even get promoted. Teams fighting for a top 2/3/4 finish not knowing if it even qualifies them for anything. B teams buying their way into the pyramid but can’t go anywhere else in the pyramid (assuming they can’t get relegated). Not even looked at the relegation/promotion from the lower leagues but that’s probably a joke as well.
  3. Seen the lad who goes by the name "Oldham Groundhopper" was up in the Perth area taking in all/some of the games as well. I like a bit of groundhopping myself but these guys clearly make a huge effort to see these different grounds and fair play to them.
  4. Take it Jamie has performed well for you guys? Always liked him at Bo'ness and was sad to see him leave. His temperament was an issue now and then though.
  5. Will be an even tougher game with EK having an extra incentive on the 3 points today - would be good to spoil/delay the party. Hopefully we manage to take an impressive 3 cars full through today.
  6. Yeah Linlithgow Thistle if I remember right. Decent team as well.
  7. Is it correct that the Bo'ness v Linlithgow attendance was 906 instead of the 605 originally stated?
  8. Andy Murphy was another rumour i heard going around Newtown Park a few weeks back, that’s why I was so surprised to see Ruddy in goal at Cowdenbeath. Guess we’ve got a few months to look at Ruddy and if not up to it hopefully get Murphy in.
  9. Think it’s pretty clear Musa is on his way out. Not sure about McArthur. Hope he stays but won’t be as big a miss as he may have been 6 months ago.
  10. He did I agree. But we could’ve been back to where we started if it hadn’t been for the good work of the current management team. Could you argue Hunter and co. have helped Max’s reputation? Albeit relegation still may have been unlikely even with a disaster start to the summer.
  11. Decent that. Squad already shaping up nicely for next season.
  12. Is this a 6 month deal or until the end of next season?
  13. This thread has been a great read. Well played to everyone involved.
  14. Bit strange conserving his loan just got extended. St Mirren have an injury crisis i’m guessing.
  15. 351 was announced at half time i believe.
  16. Felt Mcnab had a good game for you today at CB. Surprised to see him start there but seemed to play a better today than he did in the fixture in Bo’ness.
  17. Agreed, both could’ve easily been let go without either team batting an eye lid at the decision. Both players were on a yellow and gave the ref a decision to make though. Will be sad to see him go. Been a good keeper for us and had some unbelievable performances for us too. If he can cut out the errors he can go on to make a very good career for himself. Wish him all the best.
  18. Very different case in fairness as it was neither clubs ground and Queen’s Park might’ve started playing at the ground midway through the season. There will probably be a priority club set at the beginning of the season for every ground when it comes to ground sharing.
  19. Wasn’t there a dilemma about Syngenta (in tier 7?) getting priority over Queen’s Park when both playing at Ochilview in Stenny?
  20. It was Tapping. He left EK “to play closer to his young family” i’m sure it was announced by their twitter. A falkirk boy so move makes sense. Thought the BU might’ve had a look at him.
  21. Would love us to get in a real goal scoring number 9.
  22. On Newcastles current form this wouldn't surprise me. Could be the revival of Beale-ball.
  23. Could argue the opposite. The bigger the crowd the more people you could potentially be delaying from entering the ground, getting their bovril, using the urinal etc.
  24. The boy who collects all the data has that attendance down as 605. Personally thought it was more than that but obviously a little backhander went Livis way.
