JIMMY CHOO
Gordon Thomson needs to resign. He now needs to walk away and if he does there would be a glimmer of hope of survival. I have been right for the last 2 years and no one can deny that.
Clyde1235
jimmy choo is hated but some of the points he makes are very valid. A lot of people on here who could of come together to do the right thing and take action whilst we could now it is to late and we have stood and watched this happen slowly over the last few seasons
SLClyde
And the chairman leaving will suddenly mean an upturn in results? It would be a token gesture at this stage.

He will not leave now would look worse for him imo
SLClyde
Bringing McCall in hasn’t made a difference, the new signings haven’t made a difference, the chairman suddenly leaving won’t make a difference. The leadership in the club has been dreadful for years, but changing it with 13 games left is pointless. Talk about locking the gate after the horse has bolted.

So a chairman who has made a near endless list of bad decisions should stay because him going probably won't do anything to prevent our relegation? Even if we end up in the lowland league, the sooner Gordon Thomson is out the club the better it will be for everyone. Whether he should stay for the long term is a different point, my point is him going won’t make instant changes on the park.
Jacksgranda
Things are certainly looking grim for Clyde, 10 points adrift with 13 games left, requiring 4 wins when they've won only 2 of their previous 23, and needing to overcome a 14 goal defecit. Looking improbable, I'm afraid.
Clyde_1977
On the plus side, we have 13 training matches lined up to prepare for our play off game
Clyde01
We must be on for the worst points tally ever in league 2. Albion rovers went down last season with almost 40 points on the board, we are on 15. Shite!
bullyweehutch
This is the lowest point I've ever felt leaving a game. Fannies fighting in the car park to top it. Special mention to Parry for getting lobbed again. That w**k runs with about as much pace as Mark Yardley
bullyweehutch
To add, we deserve to go down. We stunk out League 1, now League 2. Clubs finished I can't see a way back now....Well done Thompson and all those who chug him off and vote for him

The chairman should resign. It would be the only good decision he would have made in his tenure. I think if he resigned the club would get a lift and we would be better prepared for the playoffs with a carefully selected new chairman. There are some good candidates on the current board. I think there is an outside chance we could catch one of the bottom teams if we can put a few results together.
rossf1984
Does anyone know if in the unlikely event of enough people caring enough, could Thompson be given a vote of no confidence and removed? that is obviously based on someone being daft enough to be lined up to replace him! surely it’s now at that point as relegation is all but confirmed but wouldn’t want this to continue otherwise we will be adrift at the bottom of the lowland league this time next year.
