The nameless tim
Cant see past Neilston , Maybole & Whitletts going down although Whitletts have put a decent run together of late. I would think Burgh win the league comfortably with Kilwinning & Drumchapel right behind them. Ashfield are giving themselves every chance but I would say another year in the first division would do them well. Peasy along with Rutherglen are hot & cold which I think will go against them come the end of the season.

Glad Kilbirnie Ladeside aren't on the list saw them against Ashfield and they were poor apart from Connolly who scored a 25 yarder

glensmad
A very definite top and bottom half split is emerging in the league table.

It was ok, but not as big as we had at the game at our place earlier in the season. Rangers were playing on the telly and Celtic were at home, so that obviously had an effect on the fair weather fans.

I assume that a new two tier membership \ season ticket package will be introduced to reflect the difference between real fans and “fair weather fans” next season. Might save me a few bob …………. If I can live with the stigma.

outoftownballer
Just in from Cambuslang v Kilbirinie. Terrible game on a really heavy pitch. But a big win for Kilbirnie. 4-1 flattered Kilbirnie, the result is all that matters on days like today.

The nameless tim
I would always say id rather have points on the board however Ashfield Burgh & Drum with plenty of games in hand must be happy with the situation they find themselves in currently. Saying that anyone can beat anyone in this league so it'll be extremely tight I think come the end of the season. Also interesting down the bottom.
Crazy Feet
Ashfield manager has done some job on the budget they have. They have no right to be in the mix against a lot of big spending teams around them.

Ashfield are where they are on merit for their performances and results on the pitch, and have every right to be there amongst the big spending teams around them, as have the likes of Blantyre, Shotts, Glencairn and Petershill.
