Thereisalight..
Thought I'd start a new thread for the season seeing as competivite matches start this upcoming week (Glasgow Cup) City have lost a great player in Jenna Clark, Celtic losing Jacynta and Flint amongst others. Rangers losing Kerr, Watson, McCoy, Cav, Davison and the fraud that was Danielsson. Hard to predict the final table but I'd be suprised if City are champs again by the end of it

Jacksgranda
Glasgow City 3 Hibs 0, thought the scoreline was a bit harsh on Hibs, who played for 70 minutes with only 10 men after their keeper was sent off. Felt the game only came to life in the last 15 minutes after City scored their second. The replacement Hibs goalie saved a penalty with her first touch and had a couple of other good saves.
Rubber_Gub
Thistle look to have made several shrewd signings. Lawton, McQuillan, Sinclair and Ferguson were standouts (alongside Cara Henderson, natch) and Kodie Hay delivered a few wicked crosses from the wing. Promising cameos by Robb and Munro, too.
Smurph
Brilliant result from Thistle yesterday and a great team performance. Didn't give United a sniff despite being down to 10 after 20 minutes - you couldn't tell.
John MacLean
Jenna Ferguson was absolutely outstanding for Thistle yesterday. Came on when we went down to ten and slotted in brilliantly in the heart of defence. Performed with a maturity way above her 17 years. She's a tremendous prospect. United looked, or were made to look, a bit of a rabble. Long hard season ahead for them.

Thereisalight..
After the first week I fear Montrose will be last seasons Glasgow Women. Hope I'm wrong as seeing teams beat every game isnt nice...unless its Killie...or the OF...or England
Rubber_Gub
It's hard to make a call this early in the season. They now have a run of five games against part-time teams when the picture should become a little clearer. PossilYM
After three games it's shaping up to be the same three again. Can't see the top three dropping too many points to the rest.
Jacksgranda
Hearts made the fatal mistake of going 2 up against Celtic in the first 7 minutes. Inevitably lost, 3-2. Good watch, all the same. No such problems for the Jambonettes this weekend, they face Aberdeen who lost 5-0 to Hibs last night. I've seen Celtic against Hibs and Hearts and they haven't just been as dominant as last season. Still won both games, of course.

PossilYM
Interesting that it just seemed like a couple of weeks back Celtic had something like 29 goal advantage over Rangers. It's now down to 3.

Obviously a lot of neutrals plus a group of 30/40 Norwegians. Game and tie over by halftime.
PossilYM
All square again with the big three at the top winning. All eyes on Airdrie next Sunday when Celtic take on Rangers at home. Something will need to give.
