  1. Correct; a game dubbed the worst defeat in Hearts' history.
  2. Ross Stewart, eh? Last kept a clean sheet on 3 March 2020 while playing for QotS against...Partick Thistle. He's since played 14 first-team games, 11 of which were losses. He conceded 32 goals during that time, including 11 in three matches for us. I was also today-years-old when I realised he was in goal for St Mirren when we beat them 5-0 in the League Cup in July 2017.
  3. Wrong thread, guys. Our next Scottish Cup tie isn't until 4 February and it's against Queen's Park. Today was the Sky Sports Cup.
  4. I'd be surprised if the majority of those who've taken the time to post that they've got a ticket don't turn up. And some of us are regulars already.
  5. Thistle to play at Firhill for the first time on 5 November. Accies the opposition.
  6. Youth internationals have been played at Firhill. International teams have trained at Firhill. The men's team have held open training sessions at Firhill. One game will not destroy the pitch.
  7. Came online to voice my displeasure at the lack of consultation on what appears to be a big development and saw the former Chairman's statement and follow-up posts. They seem...unhinged.
  8. Criticising someone who scored a double will seem crazy, but we need more from McInroy when the opposition has possession.
  9. It's hard to make a call this early in the season. They now have a run of five games against part-time teams when the picture should become a little clearer.
  10. Thistle look to have made several shrewd signings. Lawton, McQuillan, Sinclair and Ferguson were standouts (alongside Cara Henderson, natch) and Kodie Hay delivered a few wicked crosses from the wing. Promising cameos by Robb and Munro, too.
  11. I've seen it, but I can't quite believe it.
  12. Hoping to head along tonight for the first time. Drove by the other week and it looks like a lot of improvements have been made to the ground.
  13. No idea. But it felt like an unwelcome distraction from a Thistle perspective with alterations being made to the pre-season schedule to accommodate two competitive games. Seemed like a contrived attempt to shoehorn another Celtic/Rangers match into the season.
