Donathan
Complete reality check. I hope Clarke gives them an absolute bollocking at half time.

Ulises de la Cruz
We've been poor. Giving them way too much time on the ball. Should have maybe started Dykes instead of Adams. oneteaminglasgow
Think it’s time for my complete pivot. England taking this seriously is tragic, what a tinpot nation they are…
GiGi
As bad as we've been, the game should still be a salvageable 0-1 if not for the worst individual f**k up I've seen from a Scotland player since Iwelumo.
Richey Edwards
Need to win the second half IMO.

MarkoRaj
Seen this script a few times. Don't quite match up in the press and get completely passed off the park There needs to be an element of fixing it quickly before half time when it's not working. Can't always wait until we're completely beat before changing it McGinn and McTominay are completely wasted in those wide positions. Need someone to get closer to Adams, he's completely isolated

Guest
I'll just put every worldly possession on England winning the Euros unfortunately
Monkey Tennis
Well this is going well. Georgia not helping the mood. I take it others have already called this a reality check. It maybe is a bit.
Todd_is_God
It's a shame that a daft error to make it 2-0 has almost certainly killed the game. That said, whilst we've improved massively recently, this England side are 4th in the World, lost the Final of the last Euros, and were unlucky against France in the last World Cup. They'll be in the mix in Germany too. This is a different level to what we've been playing recently, and it shows. The friendly v France will be the same. We need these games (and the Nations League League A games that are coming too) to learn how to play against top top opposition. We've been crap but I think a lot of that's down to England making us look crap.

Yeah, it's hard to pretend it's do or die when you’ve almost certainly done the important stuff 3 days ago, and beaten Spain when it mattered.
Richey Edwards
Pointless game anyway. The real action was on Friday night boiiiiiiiiiiiii.
Cheese
The 2nd goal was a killer, Robertson absolutely selling the jerseys. Disappointed we've not really turned up, playing the occasion and not the match. The Nigels have been excellent and Bellingham and Foden are head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch.
Guest
I do hope a friendly isn't the mood killer for the rest of the group
dirty dingus
A bit of a shit show so far, at least have an effort at goal. Gilmour has hardly been mentioned. Rashford looks dangerous hanging off our defenders. To be honest I'd take a 0-2 with a better attacking performance second half.

O'Kelly Isley III
Just now, Cardle is Magic said: England with an elite coach would be a genuinely scary prospect for anyone in world football tbh. Some of their talent is just a joke. Disappointing from us, although I feel we should have gone with Dykes instead of Adams. Just been out of our depth so far. Let's not be blowing too much smoke up England's arse here. They are observing the basics and moving the ball well whilst retaining a good shape. The fact that that has been more than enough for a fraught, frantic and incoherent Scotland team is an indictment of our first -half performance. In other news, it's a serious reality check.
oneteaminglasgow
None of the England players are as dislikeable as Jill Scott by the way.
