Hearts v Killie

Recommended Posts

No idea how this will go. We had a solid enough away win at a venue we've historically struggled at, but the team we played was not in great shape.

Killie got a good home win against an expensive team in transition.

And Hearts are playing in Norway on the Thursday....

At least Cochrane should be available for selection and having Tagawa in is a bonus too

I've no idea if we're any good as we haven't been tested against a decent Premiership team yet.

Kilmarnock looked good against The Rangers so this should be a good test.

Cochrane has 3 games, won't part a league game till September

Killie were excellent on Saturday, but they were by and large very good at home last season too. Hopefully they continue to struggle on the road.

Will be a hard one for us anyway, but having the midweek game too might mean we have to make a few changes. Hoping the options we have to change it up as the game opens up will help us.

Realistically, I'd bite yer hand off for a draw as a sign of progression from last seasons horrendous away form.

Killie are probably still 1 or 2 players short of what McInnes ideally wants come the transfer window closing.

It's looking unlikely we'll have Vassell, so really hope we have another striker in the door before this one.

Even though we played fantastic at the weekend, I'm still cautious.

8-0 killie.

True, but we'll not have Michael Smith and Lewis Neilson at centre half with Forrest and Halliday at wing back this time.

Killie will be tough to beat, especially after a trip to Norway and them off the back of a win vs Rangers.

I'm going to predict a fairly turgid 1-1 draw.

Would absolutely take that, tbf

Word of warning for fans of either team who are thinking of heading to Platform 5 at Haymarket.  A mate who is a regular there has advised that they have put up their prices by 50p for the Festival.

any idea on how the 1st team players came through this game?

It was a closed door game which finished 2-2. I've no idea how they faired or even the scorers.

The trialiist is reported to have been Robbie Ure who's been offered training facilities and is 100% still here. No idea if we'll sign him thou as Rangers want a development fee.
