Yeah, you definitely expected far more but it is hard to get any kind of information on what has been going on for him. Obviously still only nineteen so very young. craigkillie Posted April 24 Share Posted April 24 It's not clear if he's actually ever going to be a "proper" West Ham player. The club never announced his signing, and it was only discovered by the Austrian media because paperwork for the move was lodged with the Austrian FA. It seems to be part of a link-up between the clubs, so time will tell. Helpful result for Max Johnston and Sturm Graz that Klagenfurt managed to beat Salzburg. They have a head to head this weekend, but it's in Salzburg. 4 games to go, 3 points ahead. I think they undervalued him as a player, and his potential to improve, and when it finally started to click for him his contract was running out and he wanted to move abroad. Therefore would be a safe bet that he has never set foot in Upton Park or trained with West Ham. If he performs well for the rest of the season then perhaps West Ham will give him a squad number for next season which presumably was their intent after buying him and loaning him out for the season. The season after he left he was a bit-part player in the German third tier.
