RandomGuy.
He's said in an interview that he travelled to England to meet those at West Ham before signing the deal. Also says he expects to have pre-season there to challenge for a spot, but knows a managerial change likely makes it more likely he'll be loaned out again. West Ham fans are pretty unanimous it was a deal done entirely to create a "link" between the two sides, and that he'll spend his entire contract without playing a competent game for them. Usually though youth players, those on the fringes, and sometimes those out of favour from within the bigger teams' ranks will be passed on to the feeder team. Quite unusual for the bigger team to buy a player with the sole intent of loaning in order to create a link. In fact would imagine Irving was picked up either on a free or a marginal amount, and will not be on a great wage. All very unusual but interesting - assume no other West Ham "player" at Klagenfurt currently?
Swarley
Its the AFC Cup this weekend, featuring Central Coast Mariners (Australia) v Al Ahed (Lebanon). Noticed that there is a Scottish guy called Lee Erwin that plays for Al Ahed, ex Motherwell, Killie, Ross County, St Mirren and a few other non Scottish clubs. He's scored a few goals since leaving St Mirren.

The kind of player folk on here and twitter would have been foaming at the mouth to get given a crack back in the bad days for Scotland. Not now though thankfully. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/11766100/lee-erwin-lebanon-motherwell-scotland-euros/
craigkillie
He's not a Scotland level player but he is a good player, I reckon he'd still be a decent striker at Premiership level.

Not saying he would get a game currently but I'm surprised we haven't integrated him into the squad as of yet and persist with the likes of Taylor
2426255 Posted Monday at 19:43 Share Posted Monday at 19:43 Haven't seen anyone mention it, but Scott McKenna and Max Johnston are both in good positions to finish their respective club seasons with winners medals as both Copenhagen and Sturm Graz top their respective leagues. Hopefully they can both achieve that.
